If You Look Close (Cycle)

If You Look

If you look
it lets you know
it’s there
Should you dare
It waits
not for you, not for me.
Hesitation then
I’ve slipped through the crack
with more questions than answers
questions to ignore,
answers would endanger
all that is true.
Drawn back to the void
because knowledge
has a desire
that can’t be ignored.

The Thing That Watches Back

Look on through
it saw you.
Mind cracked open,
it slid on in.
Poison or potion,
wonder without end.
Dangerous affairs,
matters of the sea,
measured
with accuracy.
You wanted truth
A version.
You’ve already changed.
Accept life
isn’t the same.
You wear your shirt,
you walk on in,
say:
“I won’t
look again.”
Time moves on
for you and me.
Dare to pull the curtain
another act.
Zip up my skin,
make sure all the
parts are in.
Grasp and see:
lines in puzzles,
hung on the wall.
A beautiful scene
it may fall.

It Waits

It waits
Not on you
Nor on me
But to Commence
To be seen
It looks back
You are in-between
Time and space
Melt into Tunnels
that never End
Loops that Spiral in
Feeds on fear
But eats it and then
You know Something

Nothing Without An End

The thing, it watches back.
